TWO YEARS AGO ACCLAIM LIGHTING, a leader in innovative and advanced lighting technology, introduced Aqua Graze™, a series of submersible, high-output LED fixture series developed for outdoor grazing of fountains, pools, ponds, spas and underwater illumination applications. Available in 1’ and 4’ linear units, the IP68-rated fixtures operate under up to 10 feet of water and are available in multiple color temperatures and color changing versions in several beam angles for custom lighting applications. The submersible linear grazing fixtures use DMX control with an Aqua Driver 150 or 0-10V through an external universal dimming module.
Now Acclaim introduces Aqua Driver 400, a constant current driver designed to control up to 400-watt single or multi-color submersible LED products. The new driver also enables manual colors to be set up when external control is not required. It can take an AC input from 100-277VAC and dims each channel via DMX. It can control up to 400W of multi color LED product, and manual colors can be set in instances where external control is not desired. Aqua Driver 400’s onboard dip switches allow for several grouping and operation modes, including static color selection and an internal preset program.
The Aqua Driver 400 controls up to eight fixtures and can either operate independently to provide static dimming or multiple chases, or can accept a DMX input for inclusion into an external control system. The 14.52” by 5.9” by 3.38” Aqua Driver 400 unit performs in temperatures ranging from 0°F to 158 °F and is housed within a black power-coated aluminum enclosure with IP20 ratings for dry indoor locations. It’s designed to be wall mounted and comes with a limited five-year warranty.
